- It started with a Kiss- VALENTINE DIVINE-
To get to the heart of why folks turn up everyday in KAMCAB beyond the need to pay bills we gathered the essential WHY of that.This WHY is the inner engine that drives all the Bureau does and what impact it creates.This was pulled from our Team of Staff and Volunteers at meetings and captured in the Word Art.
- An Image is worth a thousand words
In an Age of information overload there is nothing more compelling than an image.This image says more than any length of words can convey and goes to the Heart of our Team.It is now proudly placed in our Staff room and all areas of the Office.So as the Team naturally come across those challenges and subsequent weariness they can look up and bask in the sunshine of the WHY they are there.
- Award of Funding- Pulling in the enthusiasm and passion of a Staff Team
There is nothing like the words your Grant has been awarded to spark the bubbles of Joy.We are delighted to say we have been awarded the Aberdeenshire Alleviating Poverty Funding that will allow us to offer the Drop in and Go sessions at our most wonderful Office.I am very interested to see the impact this will have on those who come through the door and those running the Project and in particular our Academy age folks.
- Inform future direction of KAMCAB
I must confess that my particular passion is for our young people- In previous role I had the privilege to support Young Carers and witnessed first-hand the amazing resilience they display in transcending their challenges at Home and the compassion they have.My particular fuel for the journey at KAMCAB will be to see how we can positively impact our young people- That is an amazing, privileged position to be in- Look forward to the journey with our Team in this.
